Seann William Scott who starred as Stifler in the American Pie film series has checked into a rehabilitation facility. His character Stifler was a hard partying sex- crazed character but Scott told an interviewer in 2006 that he didn’t drink, do drugs or watch porno. Representatives for the 34 year old actor stated he checked into a treatment facility “to address health and personal issues”. There has been no word on what the personal issues are or what facility has checked into.
The phenomena of celebs in rehab have been in the media a lot these days. Either it is because people are fascinated by the personality flaws of our favored celebrities or more of them are having issues with drugs or alcohol. The drug and alcohol problems of stars even spurned a television show “Celebrity Rehab”. Many everyday people and celebrities enter into treatment facilities as suggested by a DUI lawyer or by the courts, usually after a DUI charge.
