Russell Brand has signed up to appear on 'Piers Morgan's Life Stories'.
The 35-year-old comedian - who is married to pop princess Katy Perry - will appear on the ITV1 chat show when it returns to screens later this spring, but is reportedly determined not to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Cheryl Cole and be reduced to tears by the notorious judge.
An insider revealed: "Piers knows how to push people's buttons but Russell just says, 'Bring it on!' He's not worried about anything he wants to ask him and he's determined he won't cry like some of the other guests.
"Piers may need to watch out, Russell's sense of humour could see the tables turned on him."
The 44-year-old chat show host is believed to be planning on grilling the 'Get Him to the Greek' star on his wild past - including his drug abuse, womanising ways and Sachsgate - as well as his recent marriage to Katy Perry.
However, veteran crooner Rod Steward may need to watch out as Russell is hoping to get his own back on the singer, who recently rubbished the comedian's claims he had slept with 90 women in one month during his womanising days.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I'm sure Russell will have a few digs of his own to get back at Rod.
"His interview will be captivating TV."
