Weather Trends International Makes $15,000 Donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region

Weather Trends International announced today a donation of $15,000 to Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) Charities of the Philadelphia Region at the CBS3 and CW Philly “Change the Luck of a Child” phone bank held in Philadelphia, PA last night to support families of critically ill children.  In addition, WTI employees raised an additional $1,150 from friends and family to benefit this wonderful organization that does so much for children and their families. “The generous contribution from Weather Trends directly supports the operations of our two Houses where families with seriously ill children can stay every night to provide some peace of mind as they go through the most difficult times of their lives,” said Susan Campbell, Executive Director Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.  But Weather Trends most valuable contribution was a hundred stuffed super hero dolls “wt360.com Guy” sent to all the children staying at the House where he was seen flying around on the arms of smiling children!

“With so many families already struggling due to the economy, it’s very difficult to imagine families suffering to help a sick child, so it was a privilege and honor to offer up our support to such a wonderful organization,” said Bill Kirk, CEO Weather Trends International.  “I’m also really proud of my employees who took it upon themselves to raise additional funds with friends and family and working the “Change the Luck of a Child” phone banks at the telethon:  Stephanie Layton, Krissy Klinger, Karen O’Donnell, Shelly Guare, Evan Lowery, Tony Saura and Jack Benoff.”
