NCAA Tournament First Round Games to Watch

There are 16 games being played today in the second round of the NCAA tournament. They are the first games being played in the round of 64 and should provide plenty of thrills and drama.

Kicking off the day is a Clemson team who will be playing their third game in as many states over the last week. They have shown promise late, but may be stopped by a tough West Virginia team. The game can be seen at 12:15 on CBS.

Butler plays Old Dominion at 12:40 on truTV. Last year Butler made a run all the way to the Championship game before losing at the last second to the Duke Blue Devils. Can lightning strike twice for this experienced team?

Jimmer Fredette and BYU play Wofford at 7:15 tonight on CBS. Jimmer has received national recognition this year for his fantastic play. It will be interesting to see how the team does without their best forward, who was notably dismissed last week for an honor code violation.

Gonzaga and St. John's play at 9:45 on CBS. St. John's has beaten some highly ranked teams this year at home in Madison Square Garden, but it remains to be seen how they will play on the road without the homecourt advantage.

Kansas State plays Utah State at 9:57 in the last game of the night. K State has played one of the hardest regular season schedules this year, but has that prepared them for the tournament or wore them down. They face a tough Utah State team in what could be an upset special. The game can be seen on truTV.
