Jameson’s Irish whiskey a Great Way to Toast St. Patty’s Day

by Daun Lee

In the world of spirits the popularity of Irish whiskey is growing and what better day to develop a love of this drink than on St. Patty’s Day. According to the Distilled Spirits Council, the sale of Irish whiskey grew by 22 percent in 2010 and demand keeps growing. The growth of other spirits remained stagnant last year. Among the favored Irish whiskeys are Bushmill’s and Jameson’s. For those who don’t like the smoky and heavy flavor of Scotch whiskey, the different Irish whiskeys available offer a lighter and sweeter flavor.

As people hit the streets to consume their Irish whiskey and green beer this St.Patrick’s day they should be aware that police will be out in force to catch over-enthusiastic revelers who decide to get behind the wheel, they will be giving out numerous DUI’s which will necessitate DUI attorneys. If a person finds themselves repeatedly lifting their Jameson’s and toasting ‘Slainte’ (Gaelic for Good Health) they may make the error of driving while drunk.

The decreased ability to make sound decisions while intoxicated lands many a drunken driver in jail because of a DUI; especially on holidays notorious for drinking. When a person is charged with a DUI their best line of defense is to hire a DUI lawyer. Jameson’s and Bushmill’s can be especially intoxicating and give their consumer’s higher blood alcohol content’s which require stiffer DUI penalties against which only a DUI attorney can help.
