Finally Overcoming Addiction To Heroin

In today’s society, drug and alcohol addiction is a major problem. Many addicts/alcoholics and their families, once aware that they have a problem don’t know where to turn. There are countless different philosophies and forms of treatment around the globe. For the addicts that are fortunate enough to get into treatment, many unfortunately relapse with the hopes of “getting it right” if one makes it back into another treatment facility.

Ryan Danel is a 27yr old graduate of the Narconon Freedom Center in Michigan. “I started using heroin at the age of 14. Over the course of ten years I completed about 13 inpatient treatment facilities, all of which were 12-step programs. I could not find a way to stay clean once I was out of treatment. I am a college graduate with a Business Degree and wasn’t making anything out of it because I couldn’t get myself established in life with continually going in and out of treatments. My parents then found The Freedom Center for me and my life has been nothing but proud moments of looking forward. It helped me to learn how to confront and handle any situation in confidence, without turning to drugs or alcohol as the solution. I am now very happy and successful in anything I do. I wish every suffering addict and their families would take advantage of the opportunities offered there.”

Narconon Freedom Center provides its students with a positive ethical way of life, applying basic principles and structure. The first part of the program consists of replenishing the body with vitamins and minerals. This is applied while the student goes through a daily dry sauna regimen which causes the student to release toxic residuals which have been stored in the body over the years. This process is vital in preventing future cravings which is the root cause for relapse. Once the student has finished this phase they gradually progress through the rest of the program at their own pace building a foundation of applicable knowledge to repair damage done to themselves and their loved ones. As they progress, they develop the skills to bring out their true self and become a productive member of society.
