Michelle Williams knows being a working mother will be "difficult" for her daughter.
The 'Blue Valentine' actress has five-year-old Matilda with late former partner Heath Ledger and though she aims to only work when the youngster is not at school, the blonde beauty knows it will be a struggle to juggle her filming commitments with home life.
She said: "Matilda is always with me. It's a balance and a struggle and it's something I'm asking more questions about.
"My goal is to work in the summer and give her the continuity of a school year. It's a balance thing.
"There will be a period of time when it's hanging in favour of my work and there will be another more meaningful period of time when the balance is hanging with my daughter Learning to live with that imbalance is difficult. And probably very difficult for her."
Michelle also admitted she is wracked with doubts every time she lands a movie role and constantly feels she isn't good enough for the part.
She said: "Every time before I start work I have a crisis of faith. I think they should get someone else.
"I'm a wreck. I start to deteriorate and then the job starts and everything is OK."
