2009 NFL Pro Bowl Rosters Announced: Peyton Manning Gets Nod to Lead AFC, Kurt Warner Takes Honor for NFC

The 2009 NFL Pro Bowl rosters have been announced and the AFC will have a familiar face taking the snaps as the Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning earned his ninth selection to the All-Star game while Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner earned his fourth Pro Bowl appearance and will start for the NFC.

Peyton won’t be the only Manning playing as younger brother Eli Manning of the New York Giants earned a ticket as well making it the first time brothers who were quarterbacks would be facing each other in the annual contest.

Warner shouldn’t have any problems communicating with the wide receivers as both play for him in Arizona. Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald got the starting nod over reserves Roddy White of the Atlanta Falcons and Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers. Peyton will have Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall and Houston Texans Andre Johnson running routes with Colts teammate Reggie Wayne and New England Patriots Wes Welker coming off the sidelines.
