Peter Kay and Susan Boyle's hilarious Comic Relief spoof could be set for worldwide success.
The duo - who performed cheesy love song 'I Know Him So Well' during Friday night's (19.03.11) charity telethon - saw the track shoot straight to the top of the iTunes chart after, and Red Nose Day bosses are now planning to release the single worldwide to raise even more cash for disadvantaged people living in the UK and Africa.
With Peter dressed as his transsexual alter-ego Geraldine McQueen and 'Britain's Got Talent' finalist Susan donning a huge curly wig, fans in Australia, the US, Canada and Asia have reportedly swamped Comic Relief with calls in the hope of getting their hands on the hilarious track and video.
Susan admitted she was "honoured" when the 37-year-old comedian - who also scored number ones for Comic Relief in 2005 with Tony Christie's 'Is This the Way to Amarillo' and alongside 'Little Britain' star Matt Lucas in 2007 with Proclaimers hit 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' - asked her to feature in the video.
She said: "I felt honoured when Peter asked me to take part in this video. His vision was clear from the start and I wanted to be involved.
"The video encapsulated the ethos of Comic Relief, having fun while raising money."
Comic Relief's huge TV event on Friday raised a staggering £74 million for disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa, smashing 2009's record of £57 million, with sales from the duo's single set to add to the total.
