Kym Marsh admits she has been "very down" during her pregnancy.
The 'Coronation Street' star is now 31 weeks into her fourth pregnancy, but has spent a great deal of her time on modified bed rest due to complications, and she admits after losing her third child, Archie, shortly after he was born in 2009, she has found the experience very stressful.
She said: "It's not been enjoyable at all. From 28 weeks I've been able to breathe a little bit.
"Yeah, there have been times I've been very down. You can go full term and still not end up with your baby. The only time it's certain is when your baby is in your arms. My experience with Archie taught me that."
Kym - who plays personal assistant Michelle Connor in the soap - said she has received enormous support from her fiance, 'Hollyoaks' hunk Jamie Lomas, throughout her pregnancy and while she has spent much time at home, she hasn't been lonely.
She added: "My family and Jamie's family have been there for us. It's not been easy for anyone and the fact that I've had to be on bed rest has had a knock-on effect. It's been tough but I'm getting through it.
"Luckily I've got my dogs Rocky and Charlie for company. But you do get very lonely when you spend a lot of time by yourself. I've been reading, tweeting, watching TV and films. It's frustrating because since we moved into our new house I've not been able to do anything. There are boxes everywhere."
Kym, 34, is expecting a baby girl, and has two children, son David, 15, and daughter Emily, 13, from a previous relationship.
