Britain's Prince William has hinted he and Kate Middleton could honeymoon in Australia.
The Prince is presently on a solo tour of Australia and New Zealand, where he has been visiting areas affected by Cyclone Yasi and the 7.0 magnitude earthquake which hit New Zealand in February, and he admitted he would like to bring his future wife back to the country, after their April 29 wedding.
Speaking in the city of Cairns in Queensland, William said: "It's much nicer down here. The weather at home is dreadful. I love scuba diving. I have always wanted to dive the Great Barrier Reef. I will have to come back; maybe we'll have a honeymoon in Cairns?"
William's statement was met with great cheers from the gathered crowd.
Cairns is a popular tourist destination in Australia because of its tropical climate, having an average temperature around 84 degrees year-round. As well as having access to the Great Barrier Reef it is also located with access to the Great Dividing Range, the third longest mountain range in the world.
Other destinations rumoured for William and Kate's honeymoon include the Caribbean island of Barbuda and the Scilly Isles, off the coast of the southern UK county of Cornwall.
