Robert Pattinson wants to play a superhero.

The 'Twilight Saga' actor - who is currently promoting new romantic drama 'Water for Elephants' with Reese Witherspoon - would love to have the chance to portray a man with special powers in a film but won't say which one because he doesn't want to disappoint fans.

Asked if he would like a superhero movie, he told 'MTV First: Robert Pattinson': "I'd love to, definitely. I don't what superhero you'd do. Is there any left?

"I shouldn't even say this stuff, because all the little fanboys will be like, 'No! I'm gonna shoot him!' "

The British hunk - who is dating his co-star Kristen Stewart - recently revealed movie sex scenes feel like playing a version of contortion game Twister and were always "awkward" to do.

He said: "It's always awkward, in a way, doing it with anybody. But at the same time, it really depends on how it's staged and stuff. It's like doing Twister."
