Robber's eye-catching outfit

A robber was caught in the US when police recognised her eye-catching outfit.

Tihesia Birdlong, 26, robbed a store in Topka, Kansas, wearing a bright blue tracksuit with wide yellow stripes - and was arrested when she was later spotted celebrating St Patrick's day in the same attire.

Police said she went into the convenience store and threatened the attendant with a screwdriver until she was given money.

She later stood out in a sea of green as people took part in a parade celebrating the Irish traditonal holiday which takes place every year on March 17.
