Dog gives birth to 17

A dog has given birth to 17 puppies in Poland.

Great Dane Hania has to feed her massive litter around the clock with the help of breeder Gabriela Kubalska to ensure they don't go hungry.

The pedigree pups - eight male and nine female - were born by caesarean section and the brood now take up an entire floor of their owner's home.

Gabriela said it was the four-year-old dog's first ever litter.
