Kate Middleton to wear VB dresses on honeymoon

Kate Middleton is planning to wear a selection of Victoria Beckham's evening gowns on her honeymoon.

The 29-year-old future princess, who will marry Britain's Prince William next month, called the pop star-turned-fashion designer - whose VB collection has been worn by the likes of Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey - to tell her of her plans after Victoria sent her an early wedding present of some dresses from her latest collection.

Kate is also said to have asked the former Spice Girl - who will attend the wedding at Westminster Abbey on April 29 with her husband David Beckham - for style tips to prepare for the romantic break.

A friend of Victoria's told The Sun: "Victoria is thrilled Kate loved her dresses and was only too happy to give her fashion tips.

"The ladies get on very well and Vic can't believe she is helping to dress the future queen."

Victoria has previously spoken of her admiration for Kate, saying: "It's tremendously exciting and I would be honoured if she were to wear my designs. I admire her tremendously.

"She's a beautiful young girl, she has a wonderful figure and I think she wears clothes beautifully."
