Russia to Give Lebanon 10 MiG-29 Fighter Jets Free of Charge

Russia is making plans to send ten MiG-29 fighter jets to Lebanon in what is being called “a form of military and technical assistance.”

According to the report Russia would also ensure the jets were fully repaired and upgraded before delivering the jets free of charge.

Russia has said the MiG jets were needed by the Lebanese army to ensure stability in the region. Lebanon has had strained relationships with Syria and have had numerous conflicts with Israel.
