It may have the power of a movement of historic proportions. With hopes as high as a cloudless sky, millions of Americans will pour through the gates of Washington DC to celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama as President of the United States and to embrace the change that the President-Elect will bring to America.
Some of the gates through which the celebratory crowds will pass are at the airports which will be festive with displays of “everything Obama” and the book browsers among them will see a carefully chosen display of books arranged by Trofie Productions of Sausalito, California in the bookshops and gift shops. All the books on display will reflect the three principal areas of Obama interest: the war, the economy and national security.
Among the books on display will be the recently published Homeland Insecurity by two distinguished former FBI officials whose investigatory skills have yielded a startling series of events that have resulted in the slow erosion of the nation’s security. The alarm rung by the authors in Homeland Insecurity is a toll for American civil liberties and national security and is a sounding point for the change for which millions of Americans hope.
“Homeland Insecurity by Terry Turchie and Dr. Kathleen Puckett, two distinguished former FBI officials is a perfect fit,” says Terry Kreml, a marketing executive for Trofie Productions. “Homeland Insecurity was chosen because of its importance to today’s concerns. We think it is reflective of the national security priorities of President-Elect Obama.”
