Drew Peterson, Suspected in Disappearance of Wife Stacy, Engaged to 5th Wife

Drew Peterson, an ex-cop and a suspect in the death of one of his wives and the disappearance of another, is engaged to a new woman. Peterson’s publicist confirms that he is engaged for the fifth time. The identity of the 23-year-old woman is being kept private.

Peterson gained national attention after the October 2007 disappearance of his wife Stacy Peterson. He claims she ran off with another man but Stacy’s family insists that his claims are not true. He is being investigated in her disappearance and possible death.

He is also suspected in the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. She was found dead in her bathtub of an apparent suicide but investigators believe the suicide was a set-up.  

Peterson is still legally married to Stacy and is reportedly seeking a divorce on grounds of abandonment.
