Martin Sheen Speaks About Son Charlie’s Troubles

by Daun Lee

Actor Martin Sheen in an interview about his new movie ‘The Way’ was finally asked about his son Charlie’s condition. The interviewer was most likely trying to avoid the subject, but honestly how could one avoid the Charlie Sheen questions and curiosity, since the actor’s somewhat juvenile antics have dominated the media. Father Sheen apparently claimed that son Charlie is “emotionally crippled”. Martin cites that when you go through a period of substance abuse then clean up the person, his son in this case, returns to the mental state they were in previous to the addiction. Since Charlie has been addicted to either drugs or alcohol for most of his life he is in state of immaturity.

Drug or alcohol addiction is a common problem in America and many people don’t seek help until forced to by a DUI or illness. Drug and alcohol users often think immaturely that driving while intoxicated isn’t a problem and these people inevitably need to employ a DUI attorney.

Charlie Sheen claims he has kicked his abuse problems without help, but most people can’t do this are generally are forced into rehabs by their DUI lawyers or by the courts. Getting a DUI will wake up most people as they have their privileges stripped away from them, but many repeat offenders need DUI attorneys and courts to put some sense in their heads. DUIs are serious offenses that become costly and take away many freedoms.
