Florida's Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin File 2009 NFL Draft Paperwork

Florida quarterback Tim Tebow and wide receiver Percy Harvin have plans to submit paperwork to the NFL Draft to judge their draft potential, according to reports.

Harvin submitted his paperwork on Tuesday, while Tebow was reported to have submitted his on Wednesday.

The deadline to submit paperwork to get an evaluation from the NFL Draft Advisory Committee is January 4. The committee, which consists of 30 NFL scouts, will determine the potential of each player who submits paperwork. The deadline to declare for the 2009 NFL Draft is January 15.

Harvin, one of the nation's most versatile and dangerous all-purpose threats, is expected to be a first-round pick, but Tebow, despite winning the 2007 Heisman Trophy, is expected to be no higher than a third-round pick, according to most NFL mock draft services.

Harvin leads the Gators with 595 receiving yards and is third behind Chris Rainey and Tebow with 538 rushing yards. He also leads the team with 16 total touchdowns (9 rushing, 7 receiving).

Tebow, a finalist for the 2008 Heisman, has thrown for 2,515 yards and rushed for 564 yards. He is fifth in the nation in passing efficiency.

Florida will take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the BCS Ntional Campionship Game on January 8th. This will be the Gators' second BCS title game in three years.
