Fans of the Final Four teams in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will have a number of distinctive new beverage options while visiting Houston when the tournament finals open there during the week of March 28th.
Reserve 101, the only neighborhood bar in downtown Houston’s Final Four Fan Fest area, has created specially designed libations for each of the top-seeded teams competing for slots in the finals.
The Game-Winning Shots include:
· “Gator Bait” (Florida): Dude Mountain-Dew-flavored vodka, Curacao blue liqueur and sweet & sour mix;
· “Buckeye Blast” (Ohio State): Crown Royal Canadian whiskey, and Amaretto cranberry juice;
· “Jayhawk Jammer” (Kansas): Blueberry-flavored vodka, Curacao blue liquor and Sprite;
· “Blue Devil Zapper” (Duke): Citrus-flavored vodka, Curacao blue liqueur and Sprite.
Co-owners Mike Raymond and Steve Long are tracking the progress to the Final Four of the top 16-seeded Game Winning Shots, eliminating teams and drinks from their brackets after a loss and replacing them with the next-highest rated team in that region.
