George Michael has finished work on his new single 'Every Other Lover In The World'.
The 47-year-old star - who recently released a cover of New Order track 'True Faith' in aid of the British Comic Relief charity - explained as well as completing the "full-on house track" he is finalising dates for a string of live performances, which he promises won't be just a "usual arena tour".
Writing on his twitter page, he said: "Hey everyone two things to titillate the loyal,just finished new single, Produced with @ stereogamous..called Every Other Lover In The World.
"And finalising tour dates, details very soon! Have some amazing venues lined up, not your usual arena tour, something way more special...:)
"Full on house track, hope u are all ready....(sic)"
The former Wham! hitmaker - who recently served four weeks of an eight-week sentence behind bars for driving under the influence of drugs in September 2010 - claims he had never said he would give up on his music career, despite announcing 2008's arena tour would be his last .
George tweeted: "Just to clear it up, never said I was giving up, said it was the last ARENA tour people...which it was :)(sic)"
