Craig Revel Horwood wants to see the dance off return for this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The showdown performance at the end of the BBC One show - in which the bottom two celebrities battled it out before the judges decided who would get the boot - was axed last year but the acid-tongued judge is keen for it to be reinstated because it helps get rid of less talented stars.
He said: "I'd like the dance off to be reinstated as it gives us a bit more power to knock people out of the competition who didn't dance as well as the next person."
Craig also revealed he wants John Barrowman to replace Bruce Forsyth as host of the BBC One show if the veteran broadcaster ever quits.
He said: "John is a pretty good dancer with a musical background."
While he is a fan of John, Craig recently admitted he didn't think Vernon Kay - who is married to Bruce's co-host Tess Daly - would be the right replacement for Bruce.
He said: "There isn't anyone in this country - I think - that can do what he does. He's a song-and-dance man and if anyone was to ever take over, I'd say it would have to be a song-and-dance man.
"Is Vernon a bit of a song-and-dance man? I don't think so, darling. There's no one that matches to him. You can go through a plethora of stars, people or hosts that could do it but you can't get better than Brucie. He's perfect for our format - absolutely perfect. I would hate to see him go."
