James Corden is worried about carrying on family tradition and giving his son his middle name - because it's a girl's moniker.
The 'Gavin & Stacey' actor's fiancee Julia Carey gave birth to a 7lbs 12oz baby boy on Tuesday (22.03.11) but the couple are yet to decide on name of their son because James isn't sure about giving him his middle name of Kimberly.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "James and Julia haven't decided on a name but James is really unsure if he should keep the family tradition going. He knows first-hand it's not a great name for a little boy growing up.
"He's wondering whether there is much point carrying it on, as he knows he's likely to get picked on at school because of it.
"The little boy is also a healthy big bruiser who looks like he could easily grow up and become a rugby player, and Kimberly is, after all, a girl's name."
James has previously spoken about his unusual middle name, saying it caused him to be teased by his schoolmates.
He said: "Every man in my family has it - it's a tradition. For ages I pretended it was Karl, but my sister was going out with one of my mates and told him, then he told the whole school. It wasn't great."
