Britain's Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall have postponed their honeymoon due to their sporting commitments.
The daughter of Princess Anne is set to marry the rugby player in Scotland on July 30 but their romantic break will have to wait for at least three months as Mike intends to represent England in the World Cup and Zara has horse-riding commitments.
Mike, 32, is due back in training just two days after the wedding and his new bride - who is Queen Elizabeth's eldest granddaughter - will compete at the Festival of British Eventing at her family home, Gatcombe Park, during the same weekend.
England rugby team manager Martin Johnson confirmed the sportsman's decision, saying the inconvenient timing hasn't put him playing in the national team.
He said: "He spoke to me and said he is getting married at the end of July. I said, 'It is a week before the first game' and he said, 'Right, I'm available'."
The couple may even have to wait until next summer until they go away, according to Zara's spokesman.
He said: "They haven't made any plans for their honeymoon yet. They will grab a holiday when they can - it's always last-minute for them because of their busy schedules.
"When they were looking at wedding dates it was never an issue. They always knew it would be business as usual on the Monday after the wedding."
