Guitar gun seized

Police in Sweden seized a guitar which was found to have a shot gun hidden inside it.

After receiving a tip-off that a man was keeping unlicensed firearms in his house, officers performed a raid and found the deadly instrument as well as six more conventional weapons.

The 54 year old said he used them as "therapy to keep off the drink" and described the guitar - which had been hollowed out and equipped with two barrels and a trigger mechanism - as "a fun thing that was not finished".

He now faces charges concerning aggravated weapons crimes.
