"Verizon Wireless was ranked highest in “Wireless Call Quality Performance”. The study of measurements to make this judgment was based on several areas such as dropped calls, static, interference, failed call connection on the first try, voice distortion, echoes, no immediate voicemail notifications and no immediate text message notifications. The call quality performance took place in six different regions the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, North Central, Southwest and the West. After the test were run and the numbers were reported Verizon found themselves at the number one spot in five of the six regions taking the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, West and a tie for the number one spot with AT&T in the Mid-Atlantic region. With no surprise the North Central region wasn’t even taken by one of the four major carriers, that spot was once again taking by U.S. Cellular for the 11th consecutive time. Well, the results speak for themselves as Verizon pretty much cleared the board of the other carriers in Wireless Call Quality Performance”.
