Zack Snyder: 'I've got the best job in the world'

Zack Snyder thinks people in the film industry only turn to drugs if they are unhappy.

The 'Sucker Punch' director - who is currently working in pre-production on 'Superman: Man of Steel' with British actor Henry Cavill - believes Hollywood is a great place to work and is surprised when people do not feel the same.

He revealed: "I've got the best job on the world, so for me, it's everyday I wake up and I'm like 'This is awesome.'

"I would say that if you have this job and you're grumpy, then what are you going to do? What are you going to do to be happy? You better start taking drugs or something because it's just not working out for you in the happiness area."

The filmmaker, who is best known for his work on '300' and 'Watchmen', also reveals he is usually a big fan of digital effects, but was concerned on 'Sucker Punch' - which stars Abbie Cornish and Vanessa Hudgens - his use of special animation may get out of hand.

He said: "We're at this point in making movies where digital doubles are a real option, and although we use them a lot, we use them really trickily and carefully in the movie.

"To make the scene make sense, and be real, we had to use real actors. We couldn't just use a double - if you want to link the person to his, moment you got to get him in there for real."
