College Football Bowl Schedule: Colorado State Rams Battle Rivals Fresno State Bulldogs in New Mexico Bowl

Colorado State Rams will take on Fresno State Bulldogs in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday at 2:30pm EST.

Colorado State (6-6, 4-4 MWC) and Fresno State (7-5, 4-4 MWC) are rivals in the Mountain West Conference, but did not play against each other this season.

Colorado State is led by quarterback Billy Farris (2,677 yards and 17 TDs), as well as an 1,000-yard rusher (Garrett Johnson, 1,191) and receiver (Rashaun Greer, 1,045). Dion Morton has caught 48 passes and 830 yards as well.

Fresno State quarterback Tom Brandstater threw for 2,478 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season. The Bulldogs were led by a running back duo in Anthony Harden (702 yards) and Lonyae Miller (699 yards).

The New Mexico Bowl will be just the second of 34 bowl games that lead up to the Oklahoma Sooners-Florida Gators matchup at the BCS national championship game on Jan. 8.
