Kate Middleton seeks advice from Victoria

Kate Middleton has turned to Victoria Beckham for tips on how to cope with public life.

The pretty brunette - who will marry Britain's Prince William at Westminster Abbey on April 29 - became pals with Victoria after the pop-star turned fashion designer sent her a selection of dresses to wear on honeymoon and now Kate has reached out to Victoria for advice.

A source close to Victoria said: "Victoria has been giving Kate a lot of advice on little things like how to stand and how to look good on camera.

"Victoria is hyper aware of her public image and after 20 years in the spotlight she can lay claim to be something of an expert.

"Kate makes no excuses about trying to tap into that knowledge to help her on her wedding day and the many personal appearances she will be making with William in the years ahead."

Victoria has previously spoken of her admiration for Kate, saying: "She is a beautiful young girl, she has a wonderful figure and I think she wears clothes beautifully. I would be honoured if she were to wear my designs."

Victoria and her soccer star husband David Beckham will attend the royal wedding on April 29.
