Mike
“Mad Dog” Bell, a former professional wrestler who appeared in bouts in the WWE,
was found dead last Sunday at a Costa Mesa, California rehabilitation center
where he had been staying. Bell was 37.
The
cause of Bell’s death has not been released but he had battled substance addiction
for some time. That addiction was documented in “Bigger, Stronger, Faster,” a
film directed by his brother Christopher Bell. The film documented the use of
steroids by Christopher, Mike and a third brother, Mark.
Bell
had also struggled with alcohol addiction as well as painkiller pills.
