Sam Attwater finds it "weird" now his relationship with 'Dancing On Ice' partner Brianne Delcourt has come to an end.
The former 'EastEnders' star - who enjoyed a brief romance with the Canadian skating champ - admitted despite their relationship having come to an end, he still "loves" performing alongside the 29-year-old beauty.
He said: "Our friendship hasn't been affected in the slightest. Brianne and I were together for a while. Obviously, we're not now. It's weird. You get so close so quick that each week you feel like you've known that person for another year. She's become my best friend and I love skating with her.
"Someone asked me if I will carry on skating after the show and, as much as I'd like to, I don't know if I could without Brianne. She's amazing."
However, after calling time on their short romance for the sake of the show, Sam explained there was a period when he thought the whole world was against him.
He added: "Our skating wasn't being talked about. It was becoming more about our relationship and that put a lot of pressure on us. I wanted to focus on the show and obviously she is going back to Canada afterwards, so we just said, 'This is only a short period of time, we should really focus on the show.'
"For a while, you go, 'Everyone's against me and I don't know why, I've done nothing wrong. I'm just trying to go out there each Sunday and entertain people and I'm getting punished for it'."
