Prince William to hold bachelor party today

Britain's Prince William will hold his bachelor party today (26.03.11).

The second-in-line to the British throne - who will marry Kate Middleton in London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 - will reportedly spend today celebrating the end of his days as a single man.

A royal aide said: "It's top, top secret but the dates have been marked off in the diary and security knows every detail. For privacy reasons we can't reveal locations, but there will be plenty of booze and some legendary activities."

William, 28, and 20 friends are set to spend the day taking part in watersports on the English Channel before ending the day with a barbeque and a trip up a nearby estuary to visit a number of pubs and restaurants only accessible by boat. The group are then expected to stay at a nearby country house belonging to a friend.

The whole event has been planned by William's brother and best man Prince Harry, 26, who will depart for a charity trek to the North Pole on Tuesday (29.03.11).

The source added to USmagazine.com:"This is Harry's last weekend before he starts his North Pole trek on March 29 so he's helped out with a lot of the planning."

Both William and his future bride Kate, 29, were advised by their royal security team - who need to monitor the couple - to have their bachelor and bachelorette parties in Britain.

The couple have also made it known they don't want lavish trips abroad while the country is in recovery from recession.
