The skeletal remains of Caylee Anthony, the missing three-year old in Florida, was found and positively identified on Friday.
Roy Kronk, a utility worker in Orange County, FL, discovered the body on Dec. 11 and alerted police that he saw the body of a young child in the wooded area less than a mile from Anthony's house.
Kronk, a meter-reader, found a strange bag in the same area on Aug. 11 and called police for three consecutive days, but investigators did not respond.
DNA tests confirmed Anthony's identity, but could not determine the cause of death. Orange County Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia announced Friday that "there was no trauma to the bones prior to death." Police have ruled the death a homicide until further investigation.
Caylee's mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was indicted in October on first-degree murder and other charges, although no body was found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn't report her missing until July.
