Gemma Arterton feels "intimidated" on the sets of big Hollywood films.
The British actress has revealed she is much more comfortable working on projects that are smaller and less expensive, admitting she felt "a bit lost" when she starred opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in 'Prince of Persia' because she didn't feel close to anyone.
She explained: "With 'Prince of Persia' I was intimidated. I like to have a relationship with everyone on set, as much as I can, because I'm from the theatre world where you know everyone.
"On that there were people who were, like, heads of departments, who I never met, ever, because it was so big. Sometimes I felt a bit lost."
The 25-year-old beauty went on to admit that she has been guilty of succumbing to typical Hollywood behaviour herself by having a tantrum but has since realised that she shouldn't waste her time worrying about the fickle business.
She explained to The Sunday Telegraph's Seven magazine: "I've shouted and stomped my feet, which is fine, but I think I was just wasting my energy there because it's not really going to change. It has always been like that, you know, Hollywood."
The 'St Trinian's' star went on to say that Hollywood studios are preoccupied with making money but she's more interested in the art of making the films.
She said: "There's a lot more at stake in big Hollywood productions in terms of money, and ratings, and things like that, which I've never been bothered with. Like, don't worry about, Just make the film."
