Coleen Nolan saved by Loose Women

Coleen Nolan claims 'Loose Women' saved her life.

The 46-year-old presenter - whose first marriage to Shane Richie ended when he cheated on her and who no longer speaks to two of her sisters, Denise and Anne - is set to leave the show in the coming weeks but thinks it was important to go out on a "high". She said: "'Loose Women' has saved my life. It has been the making of me. It has been like 11 years of group therapy. Sitting down with your mates and having a counselling session.

"And I wouldn't have done all the things in my career if it wasn't for 'Loose Women'. I want to go now while it's on a high. There comes a point where you need to move on."

Coleen - who has sons Shane, 22, and Jake, 18, with Shane, and daughter Ciara, nine, with current husband Ray Fensome - also admitted her current spouse is pleased she is leaving the show as it will keep their problems private.

She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There's only so many times I can slag Ray off. He's like, 'Thank God, we can have a row without you repeating it on television."
