The 2008 King of Cornhole will be crowned at Sam’s Town Las Vegas on January 24, 2009. The excitement builds as the list of the Top Forty ACO CornyForty Pros is about to be finalized. These Top Forty Players will be invited to fill 40 of the 64 spots in the ACO US Nationals “King of Cornhole” Tournament. The remaining 24 will need to earn their spot during the qualifying rounds on Friday January 23.
The ACO US Nationals is a weekend cornhole festival filled with social doubles and competitive doubles cornhole games, and an assortment of skill challenge cornhole games as well. The main attraction is the King of Cornhole (Singles) Tournament held on Saturday where the best of the best, from coast to coast, and into Canada will vie for that coveted King of Cornhole crown.
The American Cornhole Organization who runs this tournament, has been at the forefront of making cornhole a national sport. The players chosen to be in the King of Cornhole Tournament are serious about their cornhole game.
