A
6.5-magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of Japan’s Honshu island
Saturday evening. There have been no reports of injuries, damage or tsunami
warnings.
According
to the U.S. Geological Survey the earthquake was centered at a depth of 6.2
miles underground and 105 miles east of Mito on the island of Honshu.
The
quake hit struck at 7:29 p.m.
