Hope & a Future, a nonprofit organization serving abused and neglected children within the Arizona foster care system, will be receiving some extra fund-raising support from Phoenix Kiosk on their April 9, 2011 Strike Out Child Abuse Walk
In support of Hope & a Future’s efforts with Arizona’s foster children, http://www.phoenixkiosk.com will be donating a portion of the sales price on each kiosk shipped during the month of April. These monies will go to support the various programming efforts the nonprofit has developed in support of the children it serves. Some of the numerous, heartwarming programs offered by Hope & a Future include the Arizona Princess program featuring formal dinner parties with makeovers and gowns for teenage girls, all-star mentoring for boys, and a variety of summer camp and life skills coaching services. These activities go a long way towards promoting the children’s self esteem, and providing them with experiences comparable to their classmates. Both critical after a child has been displaced and uprooted from everything that feels familiar.
Businesses ordering a Kiosk at Phoenix Kiosk during the month of April, 2011 will enjoy knowing that their purchase has helped support these same programs. Phoenix Kiosk has enjoyed helping other organizations, such as Southwest Network in the past, and is particularly excited about this opportunity to support Hope & a Future’s work with Arizona’s foster children, and to help strike out child abuse. The fundraising walk itself will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011. Check in for the 3:45 walk starts at 3:00 pm at Civic Space Park in Phoenix, Arizona. The registration fee is $29.11, for individuals wishing to participate directly.
