Brooke Mueller insists she's a good mother.
The former real estate agent - who is currently involved in a bitter custody battle with estranged husband Charlie Sheen over the welfare of their two-year-old twin sons Bob and Max - has been plagued by rumours she took drugs while she was pregnant and is still addicted to illegal substances but Brooke claims that couldn't be further from the truth.
She told US TV show 'Extra': "The boys are having a wonderful time. Everybody's healthy and happy.
"When people say all those mean things... oh yeah, I think, get a life. I would say about 50 per cent of the time they're lies. The only thing I care about is that people know I'm a good mother."
Charlie's mother recently claimed Brooke - who reportedly took substances while on a recent holiday with Charlie and his two 'goddesses' Bree Olsen and Natalie Kenly in the Bahamas - had not taken care of herself during her pregnancy.
She reportedly said: "Brooke had been to 13 rehabs before meeting Charlie. She drank and drugged during pregnancy and had such a party girl rep before she met him."
Brooke is currently the primary carer for the children and has promised to take a drug test every week until they turn 18.
Meanwhile, Rob Lowe has revealed he and the former 'Two and a Half Men' star - who was forced to surrender Bob and Max to police earlier this month - used to compete with each other to see who could party harder.
Speaking of time he was filming 'Masquerade' and Charlie was working on 'Wall Street', Rob told Vanity Fair magazine: "We competed to see who couple play harder, then show up for work and still kick ass. The verdict: Charlie by a nose."
