Britain's Queen Elizabeth has been voted the celebrity people would be most likely to help in an accident.
In a survey conducted by the National Accident Helpline, the 84-year-old monarch - who has reigned for 59 years since her coronation in 1952 - was chosen by almost 60 per cent of the voters as the person they would most like to assist.
Kate Middleton and the queen's grandson Prince William - who will tie the knot in London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 - came second and third in the poll with 53.1 per cent and 53 per cent respectively.
Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole and soccer star David Beckham completed the top five.
Sam Porteous, CEO of National Accident Helpline, said: "Knowing which famous faces the public would or wouldn't help is interesting, but the research highlighted serious points about attitudes and behaviour towards helpfulness. It is important to realise that accidents don't discriminate. We should remember how essential it is to offer assistance to someone, no matter who they are."
Meanwhile, it has recently been revealed Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip will visit Australia in October.
The couple will fly into Perth on October 28 for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and they are expected to see other cities across the country during the tour.
A Buckingham Palace statement said: "The queen and the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) will visit Australia in the autumn. This visit will include the Commonwealth heads of government meeting in Perth."
The queen is said to be very excited about her first visit to Australia since opening the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006.
