Ryan Phillippe wants his kids to help him raise any future children he has.
The 36-year-old actor - whose ex-girlfriend, model-and-actress Alexis Knapp, claims he is the father of the child she is carrying - is keen to expand his family in the future and thinks it is a good thing he and his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon had their children, Ava, 11, and Deacon, seven, when they were young.
He said: "I'd like more kids, when the time is right. I love the ages that my kids are but I still feel young enough and curious enough about having more kids.
"The other great thing is I had Ava and Deacon so young that they can help out too.
"She's such an incredible little girl and she's so maternal towards her brother. It just works well having the girl first and them being four years apart."
The 'Lincoln Lawyer' actor also admitted he and Reese - who remarried at the weekend, tying the knot with Hollywood agent Jim Toth - had discussed moving out of Los Angeles with their children when they were still together, but they didn't think it would be fair to the youngsters.
He said in an interview with OK! magazine: "There were times when we thought of leaving Los Angeles but that in itself can be disruptive.
"Ava loves her school and, especially when you are divorced, neither parent has the right to take the kids away."
