Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer leave DWTS

Mike Catherwood was the first celebrity to leave 'Dancing with the Stars' last night (29.03.11).

The bottom three celebrity contestants were boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, talk show host Wendy Williams and radio personality Mike, also known as 'Psycho Mike' when he appears on KROQ-FM.

The host received a score of just 17 from judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba for his jive with professional partner Lacey Schwimmer on Monday night (28.03.11), putting him in joint last place for the week with Sugar Ray and Wendy.

During the first week of the competition Mike and Lacey were awarded a paltry total of 13 for their foxtrot giving them a combined score of 30 out of 60.

Upon being told he had received the lowest public vote and had been eliminated, Mike said: "It sucks to be sent home first. It has been nothing but a pleasurable experience."

He also paid tribute to Lacey, adding: "America obviously knows that Lacey Schwimmer is a beautiful person on the outside, but everybody needs to know she's equally, if not more, beautiful on the inside. I've made a life-long friend."

When the couple were asked to perform one final dance, Mike decided to perform a comical routine much to the delight of the audience.

The first pairs told they were safe were NFL star Hines Ward and dancer Kym Johnson and WWE wrestler Chris Jericho and his partner Cheryl Burke.

Also continuing to the next round of the show are Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane, Romeo Miller, Kendra Wilkinson and Petra Nemcova.
