Just a day after it was announced that Britney Spears would be touring with Enrique Iglesias, reports are now saying that Iglesias has dropped out of the tour.
According to a report from TMZ.com, the 35-year-old Latin pop singer has dropped out of the tour because he could not handle the idea of being an opening act for Spears.
Sources told TMZ that Spears' and Iglesias' lawyers and agents had spent weeks designing the terms of the tour, which was supposed to feature Spears and Iglesias as co-headliners.
But just hours before Spears went public with the announcement of the tour, Iglesias said that he felt that he would be seen as an opening act for Spears and that he wanted out of the deal.
One source told TMZ that the deal was very favorable to Enrique, giving him "great terms and great placement." But, according to source, Iglesias is just not down with the idea of being an opening act for Spears.
