John Wall Punches Miami Heat Player During Game

On Wednesday night, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall punched Zydrunas Ilgauskas of the Miami Heat during the second quarter of a regular season game.

It all started when Wall was guarding "Big Z" around the perimeter. Ilgauskas extended his elbows to give himself room while handling the ball, and one of his elbows hit Wall in what appeared to be his chin and upper chest area. Wall didn't appreciate the move and proceeded to punch Big Z in his ribs.

After Wall delivered the punch, several players from both teams tried to separate the players, including Javale McGee of the Wizards. Juwann Howard, seeing McGee touching Ilgauskas, proceeded to push McGee away.

Both Wall and Ilgauskas were handed level-2 fragrant fouls and were ejected from the game after the incident. Howard received a technical foul and was also ejected from the game. McGee received a techinical but was allowed to stay in the game.
