Kim Cattrall wants to be remembered for roles other than Samantha Jones in 'Sex and The City'.
The 54-year-old actress - who played the man-eating PR executive in six TV series and two movies of the romantic comedy alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis - has said she wants people to remember that she had a career before the character of Samantha.
She said: "I loved working on 'Sex and The City'. It's a dream job and a great character to play. But before 'Sex and The City' I was a working actress and hopefully I will be until I can't talk or move."
Kim is now starring in indie flick 'Meet Monica Velour' - where she plays an ageing porn star living in a trailer park - and she was glad she didn't have to keep to a strict diet and keep a trim physique for the first time.
Discussing her weight gain for the role of Monica, she said: "We were shooting in Detroit and there's loads of great bars in Detroit so I just ate and drank for about six weeks."
