Britney Spears can't wait to start touring again because she has missed life on the road.
The 'Hold It Against Me' hitmaker is desperate to play live in front of her fans again later this year, in what will be her first live dates since her 'The Circus Starring Britney Spears' world tour in 2009.
The pop superstar - who will be playing a host of tracks from her new album 'Femme Fatale' - told New York radio station Z100: "It's been two years since I did a major tour. It's pretty crazy on the road. It's a completely different lifestyle. You get used to it and you just grow to love it - I have been missing it. The tours and everything make it worth what I do."
Britney also opened up about her private life, saying she's not bothered about what stories come out about her health and love life because her family help her deal with the pressures of fame.
The 29-year-old singer - who has two sons, Sean Preston, five, and Jayden James, four, from her marriage to Kevin Federline - added: "I've kind of gotten to a point where I know what's real and I know what's not. I have such an amazing family that supports me in everything that I do. We brush it off.
"When you're young and you're starting out a lot of it can be a little annoying, because when you're starting out they say hurtful things.
"You get to a point where it's enough already and you just brush them all off and everyone kind of laughs at them."
Britney's summer 2011 US tour is scheduled for 26 dates, starting on June 17 in Sacramento, California.
