Xin has 'feelings' for Graeme

Craig Gazey thinks Xin has developed feelings for his 'Coronation Street' character.

The actor's alter-ego Graeme is set to marry the Chinese immigrant in a sham wedding in a bid for her to stay in the UK and while the butcher has no romantic feelings towards her, Craig isn't convinced the feeling is mutual.

He told whatsontv.co.uk: "The resentment is more towards Xin because she starts to get bossy and tries to take over his life.

"At the minute, his feelings are not directed at Xin, but I think she does have some feelings for him."

Craig also revealed Graeme doesn't want to go through with the wedding but does so because girlfriend Tina asks him to help her friend to stay in the country.

He said: "He is getting increasingly nervous about it. Tina says 'you'll just get married and that's it', but Graeme knows it will be more complicated than that.

"He is a softy. Tina is the girl of his dreams and he does what she asks. It's awful. The pretence is relentless."
