Kate Garraway wants Orlando Bloom's mother to appear on 'Daybreak'.
The former 'GMTV' host - who was named entertainment editor when her old show was replaced - explained a recent interview with the Hollywood hunk made her determined to get his mother on the ITV1 morning show.
She said: "I interviewed Orlando Bloom recently. He was very sweet. I met his mum and it turns out she's an insect expert and has written books about them. I'm now trying to get her on 'Daybreak' to do something about insects. I should be an agent."
Kate also admitted is delighted with her new role because she gets to meet so many celebrities but can still cover more "serious stuff" when she guest hosts the main show if regular presenter Christine Bleakley is away.
She added to Metro newspaper: I'm always off to swanky hotels to interview people and go to gigs, films and the theatre. It's a lot of fun.
"I host the main show when Christine is unavailable so I still get to do the more serious stuff but I've done quite a lot of it. I've had ten years of discussing the nitty gritty of fiscal policy so the occasional chat with George Clooney makes a nice change."
