Zito of the San Francisco Giants Involve in Traffic Accident

by Daun Lee

Barry Zito pitcher for the Giants was involved in a minor traffic accident Wednesday night as reported in the LA Times. The accident involving two cars occurred in West Hollywood but Zito wasn’t seriously injured but was taken to the hospital to be checked out. Investigators haven’t released details of the accident but Zito doesn’t seem to be at fault. Zito is scheduled to pitch in a game on Sunday.

Accidents are generally caused by the inattention of a driver. It was fortunate that Barry Zito’s traffic collision didn’t involve in a serious injury. Very often though, traffic collisions do result in injuries or fatalities. People suffering from accidental injuries can accrue medical bills that they shouldn’t have to pay for if the accident wasn’t their fault. Accident attorneys work to prove negligence and obtain compensation for those injured by another’s carelessness.

Dealing with insurance companies can be extremely frustrating as they will sometimes pressure accident victims to settle which may not be adequate to cover the costs of the injuries. If a fatality occurs, people who depend on the income of the deceased may face financial ruin. An accident lawyer’s primary concern is to fight for fiduciary reparation for the victims of the tragedy. People who are injured deserve a sense of justice and in an accident case that is often achieved through a settlement. Hiring an accident attorney to represent those who are injured is the best way to assure repayment for medical costs and lost wages.
